Job Description

The Epping Club Limited is seeking a dedicated and experienced Duty Manager to join our team.

As a Duty Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our establishment and delivering exceptional service to our patrons.

Key responsibilities and tasks include:

  • Overseeing day-to-day operations to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Managing staff rosters, including allocation of duties and shifts.
  • Providing leadership and guidance to the team, fostering a positive work environment. - Maintaining high standards of customer service and addressing any issues or complaints promptly.
  • Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Conducting regular inspections of the premises to uphold cleanliness, maintenance, and security standards.
  • Handling cash management processes such as till reconciliation and banking procedures.
  • Collaborating with other departments to coordinate events, functions, and special promotions.
  • Contributing to the development of operational strategies to enhance overall performance.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, demonstrating strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Desired Skills and Experience

We are looking for someone who is passionate about customer service, committed to continual learning and professional growth. This is a hands-on role and you will be required to assist staff in all departments when required.  

The Successful candidate will have

  • 5+ years’ experience in the Hospitality industry
  • 2+ years’ experience in a Duty or Supervisor position
  • RSA/ARCG/Food Safety Supervision Certificate
  • First Aid Certification
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
  • Exemplary communication and people skills
  • Experience in report writing
  • Excellent numeracy skills
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Confident in conflict resolution
  • Organised, detail orientated and trustworthy
  • Ability to prioritise tasks
  • Professional appearance
  • Ability to work unsupervised
