The Epping Club Limited is currently seeking a casual Events Kitchen Steward/Catering Assistant to join our Events Kitchen Team.  This position is Monday to Friday.

The role is a dual role prioritising kitchen steward duties with an opportunity to assist with food preparation.

Some of your key duties may include:

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all kitchen and service areas

• Operate dishwashing equipment and ensure kitchenware is cleaned and stored correctly

• Assist chefs with basic food preparation as required

• Set up, pack down, and assist with catering service for events 

• Support the team with stock rotation, deliveries, and general organisation

• Uphold workplace health & safety and food safety standards

• Adhering to standard operating procedures

The successful candidate will have an eye for detail, physically fit, a strong work ethic, the ability to work under pressure and at a fast pace with exceptional organisational skills.

They will be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred. If you have a passion for working within a team and delivering high quality service, please apply!
